Getchell for Bob's Red Mill T6635 Large Flake Yeast, 8-Ounce Packages (Pack of 4) Rating: This is one of the best tasting nutritional yeasts products I've ever tasted and I've been using nutritional yeast for over 30 years. I am vegan and use yeast for its cheesey, nutty flavor. Bob's is guaranteed gluten free as well! One of my favorite meals is a gluten free pasta tossed with a little flax or extra virgin olive oil, Bragg's liquid aminos and Bob's yeast.

I really love it so many ways but interestingly enough I use it more for my 10 year old cat than myself these days! She has adored nutritional yeast since she was a kitten and I sprinkle a generous amount on her kibble every day. It's also very useful sprinkled atop any food I might have to coax her to eat when she is being finnicky.

I've always been told that all cats and dogs should have nutritional yeast in their diet to help keep fleas away. Regardless, animals love it so why not give them the extra good nutrition?

Amazon's is an excellent buy too, even less expensive than buying bulk at the health food store. So treat yourself and your pets to delicious, high quality, good nutrition!

This yeast is great because it has a very good taste. I certainly will buy this yeast again. I am probably in the minority here, but I actually like to eat this yeast by the spoonful as a snack.

Our three year old son loves it, and especially likes sprinkling it on pasta--I think he feels empowered, and little does he know that he's literally sprinkling nutrition on his food.

You can sprinkle this on popcorn or other snack foods to impart a cheesy taste, add a tablespoon to smoothies, pasta sauce, bread, or just about any other savory food. If you're looking for a cookbook with recipes that use this, try The New Farm Vegetarian Cookbook. It's a little hipped out, but there's a recipe for nutritional yeast cheese that's pretty amazing. There's also The Ultimate Uncheese Cookbook: Delicious Dairy-Free Cheeses and Classic "Uncheese" Dishes, but I would try the Farm cookbook first.

Lastly, these are large flakes, but Frontier Coop online offers 1 pound bags of Nutritional Yeast "mini flakes" which have a finer consistency and sprinkle well from a container with tiny holes (like the kind used to sprinkle powdered sugar). Frontier's prices are also very reasonable, and they offer organic nutritional yeast as well.

They have pieces of peanuts but not too peanuty that it overpowers the chocolate. Definitely my favorite of all the Envirokidz bars.

The ones that are gluten free are very often just a bunch of nuts stuck together with honey.

What I like best about these bars is that they are made with organic puffed brown rice and peanuts. The nutritional values are decent without sacrificing taste. Not all granola bars with peanuts go over well with my kids. If the peanut flavor is too strong then they reject the stuff instantly. These bars they absolutely love! The chocolate is not too strong either so it makes for a nice blend of flavors.

These are a real life saver for us as a quick portable gluten free snack

I absolutely love these bars and they're tricky to find at supermarkets. I usually have to go to specialty markets and natural food stores to find this specific flavor. If you love chocolate peanut butter foods, you'll love these. The price is great and I'm so glad you can get them on a subscription (cheaper, too!). I would recommend keeping these somewhere cool, as they tend to melt.

We got started on them because they are gluten free, and they are the best tasting gluten free product we have ever found period. My wife and I both have one mid-morning and mid-afternoon with our green tea---very good. The only problem is that I requested that Amazon get them several months ago, then I got the notice that they had them, so I promptly ordered six boxes, only to be told they had a limit of one box!! Now its been several weeks and they still do not have any more in???? And its not because they can not get them, because every one else has them available with no limit on how many you can buy??

This has truly become my favorite cereal. It tastes so good, very crunchy and flavorful. I was happy to be able
to purchase it in bulk(3 boxes)through amazon.com. It's nice to know it will be mailed to me every few months
so I never have to run out!
